Worship with us on Second Sunday in Lent on March 17 at our ONE worship services at 9 a.m. Bridge Pastor, Pr. David Penman will lead the congregation in a Holy Communion worship service, present the Children’s Sermon, as well as present the Sermon for the morning. During the service, we will recognize all those who help with the quilts that members make for mission trips, LWR, and the VA hospital. Confirmation will be held at 7:45 a.m. in room I. Sunday School for all ages will be in room H at 8:15 a.m. The Adult Sunday School class will be in room H at 10:15 a.m. Those ministering at the 9 a.m. service are Acolyte; Rebecca Johns, Lector; Sue Hoffman, Communion Assist: Sue Hoffman and Greeters/Ushers; Ginnie Wilkinson and Norman Hoffman. Immediately following the service, a Coffee Hour will be held in the parlor honoring the quilters. Also after the service, an Altar Guild meeting will be held in room I.

Pastor Penman’s office hours are Mondays 9 – 11 a.m. The Bell Choir will rehearse on March 18 at 6:30 p.m. On March 20, the day will begin with the Grief Group Luncheon at Americana Diner on Route 100. Then that evening, we will have a Soup Supper beginning at 6 p.m. in room H/ parlor, which will be followed by the mid-week Lenten service at 7 p.m. in the parlor. The Senior Choir will rehearse immediately following the Lent Service on March 20. The Girl Scouts will meet in the social hall of the church on March 21 at 6:30 p.m. The “Journey’s through Grief” session will be held on March 21 beginning at 7 p.m. in room H, downstairs in the church.
