Brian A. Stitzel, 62, of Windsor township, passed away unexpected­ly at his residence on June 13, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Debra L. (Fronk) Stitzel with whom he shared 40 loving years.

Brian was the son of the late Paul and Helen (Rubright) Stitzel.

Brian was devoted to the family business at Stitzel Farm Equipment of Windsor Township where he worked from 1985 until his passing. He was a sales representa­tive who was loved by his clients.

Brian was a good man with a heart of gold, someone who would have helped anyone. He was hard working and valued a job well done. He loved his dogs, and he took great joy in feeding the barn cats around the property. He loved country music and country Westerns, and he always had time to watch James Bond. He loved his family and they were very important to him.

Left to treasure Brian’s memory are his wife, Debra; son, William J. Stitzel of Reading; daughters, Amanda L. Stitzel, wife of Jason Belovich, Jessica M. Becker, wife of Steven Becker, both of Schuylkill Haven; grandchild­ren, Caleb and Callie Becker, and Olivia Belovich; brother, Kevin P. Stitzel, husband of Amy Stitzel; sister-in-law, Linda Waskow (wife of the late Robert Waskow); and nephews, Brandon Stitzel and Kevin Stitzel Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508, or may be made to help offset the cost of the funeral to Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S 4th Street, Hamburg PA 19526. Please place Brian’s name on the memo line.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Zion’s Church, 770 Zion Church Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526 with committal to follow at Zion Cemetery of Perry Township. The family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
