MARCH 21

8:48 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 37, entered a business and attempted to steal money from the register. When an employee shut the register, the suspect reached into his waistband in a manner that simulated being armed, then grabbed candy bars and fled the store. Officers located the suspect, who fled on foot and was apprehende­d a short distance away. He provided a false name to conceal his felony warrant for criminal threats and animal cruelty. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Overnight in the 1400 block of Abbott Avenue: Someone used a marker to tag the men's restrooms.

2 p.m. in the 190 block of Superior Drive: During an argument, the victim was heard yelling for help. A man, 23, had hit the victim.

2:26 p.m. in the 1100 block of Boise Drive: Someone stole jewelry from a residence.

4:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Connie Drive: Someone stole constructi­on supplies from the driveway.

7:15 p.m. on the Los Gatos Creek Trail near Campbell Park: A man, 48, was drinking beer and harassing people on the trail. He was too intoxicate­d to care for himself.

11:35 p.m. at Latimer and Victor avenues: A juvenile was located by an officer sitting on the curb. As the officer was conducting his investigat­ion, another juvenile walked over, grabbed a bag from the first suspect, and fled on foot. The second suspect was trying to take the bag with marijuana in it so the first suspect would not get in trouble.

12:45 a.m. at Highway 17 and Camden Avenue.: A woman, 25, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be in possession of a meth pipe.

3:32 a.m. in the 2100 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 45, was parked behind a business in a white GMC Safari van.

MARCH 22

3 p.m. in the 900 block of Connie Drive: A man,

52, was witnessed carrying constructi­on materials from the victim's residence to his own. A probation search of his house was conducted and the stolen lumber was located.

12:32 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Two women were observed by employees stuffing merchandis­e in their purses. Upon being confronted, they put the merchandis­e back. Both were contacted by officers and cited.

Overnight in the 600 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone forced open a door and stole copper wiring.

11:09 p.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue.: A woman,

24, came to a gas station to resolve an argument and refused to leave. She ignored officers' orders not to enter the store again and tried to walk past them into the store. Officers tried to convince her to go home, but she refused and would not leave.

11:25 p.m. in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue: A man, 61, was in a car parked in the victim's driveway. He was also seen wandering about the driveway of the victim's house. The suspect was also was seen entering unlocked cars on the street.

2:58 a.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Campbell Avenue: A man, 28, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI. He is on probation for DUI.

2:54 a.m. in the 1100 block of Florence Way: A man, 56, was contacted in his vehicle, and methamphet­amine was located in plain view. He was also in possession of a pipe.

Overnight in the 1200 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone forced entry and stole Items.

6:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone forced entry into a vehicle and stole items.

Overnight in the 500 block of West Latimer Avenue: Someone forced entry into a vehicle.

10:40 a.m. in the 700 block of Springfiel­d Drive:

An abandoned white 2003 Toyota Tundra was called in. The vehicle was determined to be stolen out of Sunnyvale.

3:33 p.m. in the 800 block of Sobrato Drive:

Two juveniles were tagging mailboxes in the neighborho­od. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.

5:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone stole items from a vehicle.

5:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 32, exposed his genitalia. He was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

8:50 p.m. in the 100 block of North San Tomas Aquino Road: A man said his stepfather elbowed him in the chest.

9:21 p.m. at Hamilton and Llewelyn avenues: A man, 62, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He possessed metal knuckles and was cited.

11:11 p.m. at Hamilton and Llewellyn avenues: A man, 21, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He possessed methamphet­amine and drug parapherna­lia and had a suspended driver's license for which he was cited. 2:26 a.m. at Mcglincy

Lane and Union Avenue:

A man, 43, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He possessed drug parapherna­lia and was cited.

3:28 a.m. in the 300 block of Dunster Drive: An officer located a 2012 Honda motorcycle that was reported stolen on out of Sunnyvale.

8:30 p.m. in the 1400 block Abbott Avenue:

During an argument, the suspect threw some water onto the victim.

MARCH 24

Overnight in the 1400 block of Abbott Avenue:

Someone used marker and spray paint to deface the men's bathroom.

10:07 a.m. at W. Hacienda Avenue and Walnut Drive:

Two men were called in as suspicious persons possibly breaking into a vehicle. Officers contacted the suspects and determined they were not breaking into a vehicle. One suspect was in possession of a controlled substance, and the other was under the influence of a controlled substance.

1:08 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone stole the victim's wallet when she left her purse unattended in a shopping cart.

2:11 p.m. at North Central and East Hamilton avenues: A man, 59, was contacted while laying down on the sidewalk with two empty 24oz beers next to him. The suspect was found to be too intoxicate­d to care for himself.

6:22 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone jumped onto the hood of the victim's car as they yielded.

11:03 p.m. in the 400 block of Dallas Drive:

Someone vandalized two cars parked in the driveway.

1:33 a.m. at Dillon and Campbell avenues: a woman, 51, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. She was found to be a restricted person in possession of pepper spray. She also possessed methamphet­amine, heroin, drug parapherna­lia and burglary tools.

3:28 a.m. in the 1400 block of Inskip Drive: Someone forced entry into a vehicle and stole various tools.

MARCH 25

9:43 a.m. in the 700 block of Waldo: A man, 43, was seen jumping the fence into a school while children were playing. The school immediatel­y brought the children inside, and the suspect jumped back over and hid in the bushes. A witness observed the suspect and knew the school had a prior restrainin­g order against him. Officers contacted the suspect, who would not comply with verbal commands then ran away. Officers caught up to the suspect and grabbed him; he then tried to punch an officer. The suspect ran again but was caught from behind. He was able to pull away while violently swinging his arms, striking the officer in the upper body. The suspect then took a a fighting stance challengin­g the officer, took a step forward then quickly ran into his residence. The suspect ran through his residence and began to jump fences. A perimeter was set, and eventually the suspect was seen on Louise Court. Officers tried to take the suspect into custody, but he continued to fight with them. K9 Lucas was deployed. The suspect eventually stopped resisting and was taken into custody. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was transporte­d for medical treatment then booked into jail. 11:32 a.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone stole merchandis­e from the store an fled in a brown Isuzu Trooper. The victim wanted prosecutio­n for the theft. 3:25 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone stole the victim's wallet with a driver's license, credit cards and cash inside of it while she was at the store.

9:48 p.m. at Hamilton and Salmar avenues: A man, 50, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He a fictitious tab on his plate and possessed a collapsibl­e baton.

11:25 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 38, was stopped after he was reportedly looking into parked cars. He had two outstandin­g warrants.

12:37 a.m. at Leigh Avenue and Dry Creek Road: A man, 21, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be DUI and was arrested.

1:15 a.m. at Kirkmont and Greencreek drives: Officers located a 2000 Ford F350that was reported stolen out of San Jose.

2:50 a.m. at Campbell Avenue and Winchester Boulevard: A man, 21, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was arrested for DUI and for an outstandin­g warrant.

5 p.m. in the 500 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A woman got her vehicle serviced at a business then fled the scene without paying for the service. The business has tried numerous times to contact her without any luck. The business desired prosecutio­n.

MARCH 26

Overnight in the 100 block of North San Tomas Aquino Road: Someone smashed the glass door on the north side of a business, made entry and fled with the cash register.

Overnight in the 800 block of Sharmon Palms: Someone vandalized a vehicle shattered the back window, causing $2,500 in damage.
