200 block of Cristich Lane: Someone entered a business and stole items. 400 block of Kuehnis Drive: Someone stole several unattended DVDS from a carport.

APRIL 11

Overnight at Campbell Avenue and Highway 17:

Someone tagged both sides of the pedestrian portals.

3:27 p.m. at Charmain and Darryl drives: Someone was observed stealing a package.

3:57 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue:

Someone stole items, was confronted by a store employee and fled.

4:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A woman, 54, was contacted and found to have felony and misdemeano­r warrants for vandalism.

2:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West Campbell Avenue: Someone broke into a mailbox.

6:56 p.m. in the 600 block of Lisa Way: Someone jumped the soundwall along San Tomas Expressway into a backyard.

3:14 a.m. at Union Avenue and Duncanvill­e Court: A man, 32, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: The victim's credit card was compromise­d and used to complete a fraudulent purchase.

APRIL 12

Overnight in the 00 block of Kim Louis Drive: Someone gained entry into a locked van and damaged the ignition in an attempt to steal it.

12:09 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 34, was observed acting suspicious­ly and found to have two outstandin­g felony warrants. He was also under the influence of a controlled substance.

Overnight in the 400 block of Sunberry Drive: Someone gained access to a bank of mailboxes and stole mail.

5:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of Camden Avenue: A man, 33, caused a disturbanc­e and was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a meth pipe.

11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Railway Avenue: An officer located a stolen 2007 Yamaha motorcycle.

12:17 a.m. at Hamilton and Eden avenues: A man, 21, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to DUI.

1:24 a.m. in the 100 block of Dillion Avenue: An officer located a stolen maroon 1998 Toyota Tacoma.

APRIL 13

2 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Campbell Avenue: A man, 56, was contacted after reportedly walking through downtown with his pants down. A records check revealed an outstandin­g $20,000 warrant.

Highway 17 and Hamilton Avenue: A small brush fire was set near the top of the off-ramp.

8 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue:

Someone broke the windows to five separate vehicles and took property.

9:22 p.m. at Camden and Bascom avenues: A man, 43, was causing a disturbanc­e and found to be under the influence.

2:39 a.m. at Campbell Avenue and Winchester Boluevard: A woman, 33, was the passenger in a car stopped for vehicle code violations. She had a pipe and meth in her possession and also had an out of county warrant.

7 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue:

Someone entered a vehicle via window smash and stole a duffle bag containing two

ipads and clothing.

APRIL 14

10:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone entered a store and asked the clerk for a prepaid VISA gift card. The clerk activated the card before the transactio­n was complete, and the suspect fled with the card.

2:14 p.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue:

A man rode a bicycle to the storefront, discarded the bike and stole another one from a display. He fled with the bicycle across the street but left it behind after discoverin­g there were no pedals on it.

2:30 p.m. at David Avenue and Monica Lane: A man, 23, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. He had an outstandin­g $25,000 warrant.

7:13 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue:

A man, 36, entered a store and attempted to steal items. He was confronted by employees and threatened to hurt two of them. He was arrested and booked.

12:28 a.m. in the 600 block of West Valley

Drive: Two people were heard arguing and were contacted. The victim had visible injuries, and the suspect, 20, was arrested for domestic violence.

12:28 a.m. at Campbell and Bascom avenues: A woman, 46, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

2:21 a.m. at Central Avenue and Civic Center Drive: A man, 25, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

3:27 a.m. in the 900 block of East Hamilton Avenue:

A man, 38, was stopped after an alarm was received. He was seen throwing a rock and breaking a window.

APRIL 15

Overnight in the 600 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone broke a fire extinguish­er in a parking garage.

10:59 a.m. in the 1700 block of S. Bascom Avenue: Someone forced entry into a storage unit and took items.

Overnight in the 1100 block of Salerno Drive: Someone broke the window to a vehicle.

3:22 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 33, was seen urinating and defecating next to a store. Upon contact, he was found to be under the influence of a stimulant.

5:35 p.m. at Bascom and Hamilton avenues: A man, 56, was involved in an injury collision. He was found to be DUI and was arrested. He also possessed drug parapherna­lia and heroin.

5:50 p.m. in the 600 block of Creekside Way: A man, 34, was causing a disturbanc­e at the business. He was too intoxicate­d to care for himself and was taken to a sobering station.

12:20 a.m. at Hamilton and Bascom avenues: A man, 47, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be DUI and was arrested.

APRIL 16

11:06 a.m. in the 600 block of East Hamilton Avenue:

A man, 26, was in possession of methamphet­amine, a glass pipe and burglary tools.

1:30p.m. in the 900block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone stole money from the center console of a vehicle.

Overnight in the 600 block of Weston Drive: Someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2007 Honda Accord.

3:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of More Avenue: A 17-yearold was seen tagging the school and fled the scene when confronted. Officers located the teen with graffiti tools and marijuana in his possession. He was cited and released to his parents.

Overnight in the 1200 block of West Parr Avenue: Someone stole a silver 1999 Lexus SC400 from the street.

10:44 p.m. at Virginia and Hazel avenues: A man, 23, was stopped for several vehicle code violations. He fled and ran into a back yard on Virginia Avenue. He was convinced to meet with officers and eventually complied. He was found to be DUI and was arrested. 1:52 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Bascom Avenue: A woman, 31, was contacted for a vehicle code violation. She was cited and released for being in possession of drug parapherna­lia, heroin and burglary tools.

APRIL 17

1:59 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A man, 55, fled the scene after his vehicle struck a parked van. The victim, 25, then followed the man into Campbell, and officers conducted a traffic stop. San Jose police were unable to respond.
