JAN. 2

Overnight in the 1700 block of W. Campbell Avenue:

A black 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen.

4:59 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard:

Three men were reported to be panhandlin­g in front of the store and were getting upset with patrons who refused to give them money. One man refused to comply with officers' commands and took a fighting stance. The other refused to comply with commands and attempted to stand to flee. The third refused to comply with commands to remain where he was and yelled at officers who were attempting to control the others. All three subjects were too intoxicate­d to care for their safety or the safety of others.

9:02 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue:

A man was called in by employees because he was in the bathroom for over an hour. He was found to have meth and a pipe on him.

4:59 p.m. at Camden Avenue and Erin Way:

A driver struck the victim's vehicle and fled.

Overnight in the 200 block of Esther Avenue:

Someone struck a vehicle that was parked in front of a residence.

Overnight in the 1200 block of White Oaks Road:

Someone stole the keys for a 2016 GMC U-haul moving truck then stole the vehicle. The vehicle was located in San Jose in the afternoon.

8:19 p.m. in the 800 block of Gale Drive:

The suspect and victim have a peaceful restrainin­g order in place. They got into an argument, and the suspect pushed the victim. The suspect fled prior to officers' arrival.

9 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Bascom Avenue:

A suspect stole merchandis­e and reached over the counter and grabbed cash from the register. The victim and the suspect got into a struggle over the money.

8:54 p.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Winchester off-ramp:

A driver was traveling at a high rate of speed, hit the guardrail and went down the embankment. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

10:29 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue:

A woman, 30, was causing a disturbanc­e near the business where her exboyfrien­d works. She was found to be too intoxicate­d to care for herself.

11:33 p.m. at Camden Avenue and Winchester Boulevard.:

Someone removed the bolts from the base of a city traffic light pole. The pole was damaged and laying across the road. 3:10 a.m. at South Bascom and Campbell avenues: A gray Dodge Dakota that was stolen out of San Jose was stopped with the registered owner driving it.

Overnight in the 1000 block of Whitehall Avenue:

Someone broke the passenger window and the lock on the toolbox in a Ford F250.

Overnight in the 10 block of Carlyn Avenue:

Someone entered an unlocked Ford van and stole personal items.

Overnight in the 1000 block of Tolworth Drive:

Someone broke into a Chevrolet Colorado and Chevrolet Silverado parked on the street and stole personal items.

700 block of West Hamilton Avenue:

A transient man, 33, was discovered in an encampment on the property by management. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and had an outstandin­g $10,000 misdemeano­r warrant.

6:50 p.m. in the 100 block of West Hamilton Avenue:

Someone tried to open the bathroom window. The victim only saw a hand opening the window.

1:56 a.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue:

A man, 44 was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

Overnight in the 900

block of Hazel Court:

A woman stole mail from the victim's mailbox.

1:32 a.m. at South Bascom Avenue and Stokes Street:

An officer attempted to conduct a vehicle stop on a green Chrysler Sebring, but it failed to stop and fled at high rate of speed.

12:12 p.m. at Alice Avenue and First Street:

A transient woman, 36, was walking around cutting branches with sheers. She had an outstandin­g warrant for her arrest and was under the influence of a controlled substance.

Overnight in the 600 block of Almarida Drive:

Someone forced entry into the victim's car and stole items.

1:51 p.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue:

An employee, 62, was discovered stealing money from a business.

2:45 p.m. in the 10 block of West Campbell Avenue:

A man, 46, was catcalling the victim and then challenged a man to fight. He was too intoxicate­d to care for himself and lied about his identity.

4:20 p.m. in the 500 block of West Rincon Avenue:

A package was stolen from the victim's front porch.

7:03 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Winchester Boulevard:

A transient woman, 33, was seen near a stolen U-haul, which was captured on Flock. An officer located the vehicle in the parking lot. The woman had the keys to the vehicle and admitted to driving it. In the rear of the van there was a stolen mini bike out of Fresno County as well as burglary tools.

8:15 p.m. at Union and Apricot avenues:

Someone in a dark sedan shot the victim in the right hamstring with a bb gun.

Overnight in the 600 block of West Hamilton Avenue:

Someone made entry into an unlocked vehicle and stole items.

10:03 p.m. at Patio Drive and Decorah Lane:

A man, 30, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

11:39 p.m. at Camden and South Bascom avenues:

A woman, 40, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and was in possession of drug parapherna­lia and methamphet­amine.

1:15 a.m. at South Bascom and Union avenues:

A woman, 50, was passed out in the driver's seat in the intersecti­on. An officer initiated a vehicle stop and walked up to the driver's window. She woke up and looked directly at the officers, then drove off at a high rate of speed.

3:02 a.m. at South Bascom and Apricot avenues:

A man, 32, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be driving under

the influence of alcohol.

3:46 a.m. at 1682 South Bascom Avenue:

A transient, 34, was to in possession of drug parapherna­lia and a credit card.

6:22 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue:

Two women entered a store and stole items, then fled.

JAN. 7

9 a.m. in the 800 block of Gale Drive:

During an argument, a woman, 47, hit the victim, causing his lip to split and bleed. The victim denied a restrainin­g order.

Overnight in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue:

Someone stole the plate from a white 2015 Lark trailer.

12:22 a.m. at North First Street and Civic Center Drive:

Two juveniles were shooting a projectile weapon at people in the downtown area. Someone was struck several times and wanted prosecutio­n. Both suspects were cited and released to their parents at the scene.

3:26 a.m. at Dell Avenue and Vandell Way:

A blue 1993 Ford Ranger was stolen.

JAN. 8

6:53 p.m. in the 600 block of Virginia Avenue:

A man, 28, was called in as reckless, and a witness placed him under citizen's arrest. He was uncooperat­ive, and a DUI search warrant was obtained.
