Southern downs North County in four games

Elyse Finnelle went 18 for 20 with three digs and eight kills and Jordyn Pratt finished 14 for 15 with six assists, three digs and a kill to lift Southern over North County in four games, 25-23, 18-25, 25-20, 25-17 on Thursday.

Jessica Chaney added nine digs, 12 assists and two kills, Noelle Watson contributed seven kills and four digs and Niya Butler had 14 digs for Southern (4-7).

Mallorie Hetzel finished 16 for 17 serving with four aces and Sabrina Sheppard added 10 kills, six assists and three digs as the Eagles continued to roll with a 25-9, 25-23, 25-22 sweep of the Gophers.

Camille Coryatt was 8 for 10 with four aces, four kills and three digs for Northeast (10-1).
