The left continues to blame other side

The Rev. Antonio

Palmer blamed President Donald Trump for

“lack of justice and the rhetoric spewed across our nation.”

Doesn’t he remember the “First Step Act” signed by Trump, which reformed sentencing laws that have wrongly and disproportionately harmed the

African-American community, giving nonviolent offenders the chance to reenter society as productive, law-abiding citizens?

For first-time non-violent drug offender, Alice Johnson, who had already served 21 years of a life sentence, the president commuted her sentence and fully pardoned her. Trump said he believed in second chances.

Now Alice advocates for criminal justice reform.

Next, Palmer blamed the Catholic Church for “white supremacy”

“We realize that racism isn’t anything new. In fact, the Catholic Church authorized the killing and enslavement of indigenous people around the world in the name of the “Christian” king. Racist church doctrine encouraged people of European descent to believe they were superior to all other races, especially those of African ancestry,” he wrote.

Does he remember Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King’s June 22 statements, followed by the desecration of statues of Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother and burning of Catholic churches? “Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down… They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been.” “In the Bible, “when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Denmark.”

“Tear them down.”

Catholic Charities of Baltimore serves a hot meal daily, over 500,000 meals a year, to people who depend on them, and helps with 80 program sat 200 locations throughout Maryland, inspired by Gospel mandates to love, serve and teach.

In Annapolis, for over 60 years, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, at Saint Mary’s Church has helped African Americans forestall evictions, obtain job training, pay overdue utility bills, stay employed, and get food.

Next, Nick Berry, not a psychiatrist or therapist, in “This is so depressing” claims that President Trump is not Hitler, he behaves like him, but is more like a Mafia Don with evil henchmen.

They apply the Left’s tactic of blaming the other side and demanding that you agree.

The Left builds on anonymous quotes, as when Berry used the “Atlantic’s” widely criticized article to affirm that the president cares nothing about the military. Really?

The president rebuilt and strengthened the military, which President Barack Obama’s administration did not do.

■ He increased defense outlays by 25% between 2016 and 2020,

■ Reformed the Veterans Administration;

■ Increased readiness funding

■ Invested in core-war-fighting systems, in modernizing nuclear forces

■ Funded resilience in space as military forces depend on satellite systems for missile warning, secure communications, intelligence and navigation

■ Pressed allies to contribute to their defense.

He is responsible for the Treaty of Peace, Diplomatic Relations and Full Normalization between the UAE, Bahrain and Israel, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020 and 2021.

The Left and Right should apply the advice in Matthew 7: 3-5: “Why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considereth not the beam that is in thine own eye?”
