Anne Arundel County adds 71 coronavirus cases, two deaths
Anne Arundel County confirmed 71 new coronavirus cases and two new deaths Wednesday, according to state health data. Maryland confirmed 575 new coronavirus cases and nine deaths.
Numbers released Wednesday morning show the county now has 10,986 confirmed cases and 248 deaths. Another 12 people may have died from the disease, but a lab test was never performed. Maryland now has 132,918 confirmed cases and 3,877 deaths. The state’s daily positive test rate is 4.41%. Anne Arundel’s rate of positive cases is 3.47%.
As of Wednesday, Anne Arundel has recorded on average about 10.9 new cases per 100,000 and the state average is 9.78.
