THE TROUBLE WITH MAGGIE COLE Beloved British comedy actress Dawn French (“The Vicar of Dibley”) returns to series television in this new dramedy set in Thurlbury, a quaint coastal village. As the show opens, shop owner and busybody Maggie Cole (French), who presents herself as a local historian, stirs up life in the village during a tipsy interview on a radio show, when she makes some indiscreet revelations about several of her neighbors.
