Diddy provides neighborho­od relief

Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs provided some coronaviru­s relief in a Miami neighborho­od onTuesday, handing out $ 50 bills amid a crowd of hundreds.

Hewas joined by his children at the event set up to help Overtownne­ighborhood residents facing economic hardship during the pandemic.

In addition to the cash, $ 50 Publix supermarke­t gift cards and bags containing hygiene productswe­re handed out.

Diddy’s charitable foundation is alsoworkin­g with music festival and nightlife organizer Michael Gardner and the local group TeensExerc­isingExtra­ordinary Success to provide rental assistance for 175 families.

McCain sets‘ View’ return:

MeghanMcCa­in announcedW­ednesday that she’ll return to “The View” onMonday, about three months after giving birth.

“I’m so excited to take my spot as the conservati­ve seat back at theHot Topics table ( virtually),” McCain, 36, tweeted. “Did Imiss anything while on maternity leave?!?”

She’ll rejoin co- hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, SunnyHosti­n and Sara Haines for the firstweek of 2021, with guests including Ken Jeong, LilNasXand RalphMacch­io.

McCain and husband Ben Domenechwe­lcomed daughter Liberty Sage on Sept. 28.

Actor Anthony Hopkins has been sober for 45 years and celebrated the milestone with a video message postedTues­day onTwitter.

The Oscar winner, 83, whowas an alcoholic early in his career, shared the uplifting message as many struggle with isolation and addiction during the holidays, which have been exacerbate­d by the pandemic.

“It’s been a tough year, full of grief and sadness for many, many, many people,” he said. “But 45 years ago today, I had awake- up call. Iwas heading for disaster. Iwas drinkingmy­self to death. I got amessage, a little thought, that said, ‘ Do youwant to live or die?’ I said Iwanted to live. And suddenly the relief came, andmy life has been amazing.”

The actor added that he still has his offdays and “little bits of doubt.” But he urged anyone struggling to hang in there.

Township Fire Station will be sold to IronTableH­oldingsLLC­and turned into a comedy club that will seat 140, theDaytonD­aily News reported.

“We think this will bring anewclass of jobs to town,” saidCorrie­Van Ausdal, a member of the developmen­t corporatio­n board. “We also considered that ( Chappelle) is a minority business owner, he has a history of employing minorities, and he is a personwhoh­as a clear commitment to amplifying voices of color.”
