STATION 19 This action drama returns from an agonizingly long hiatus (at least for its fans) with “Train in Vain,” a crossover event with sister show “Grey’s Anatomy.” As the action resumes, Drs. Carina and DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato, Giacomo Gianniotti) are on the trail of Opal (guest star Stephanie Kurtzuba), who is suspected of sex trafficking. Elsewhere, Maya (Danielle Savre) leaves Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) in charge of the yearly inspection, while Vic and Dean (Barrett Doss, Okieriete Onaodowan) struggle to cope with the fallout from Dean’s arrest. HELL’S KITCHEN The eight remaining chefs cook various varieties of burgers, finding their mandatory additional ingredients in a massive deck of cards in the new episode “There’s Something About Marc.” During the dinner service, Chef Gordon Ramsay becomes so enraged by one team’s poor performance that he kicks them out of the kitchen, leaving the other team to finish the remaining orders all by themselves. CALL ME KAT Daniel (Lamorne Morris) is out of town on the day Randi (Kyla Pratt) has set aside to move into his place, so Kat (Mayim Bialik) offers to give her a hand in the new episode “Moving In.” In the process, however, Kat stumbles across an unexpected secret about Daniel’s past. CLARICE In a new episode called “Get Right With God,” Clarice (Rebecca Breeds) may be very good at her job, but that doesn’t protect her from getting drugged and confined to a hospital bed by a serial killer who is part of the medical profession. Drifting in and out of consciousness, she is assailed by a vivid series of hallucinations. (TV14) 10 p.m. on ` -13

CAKE For viewers who find some of their TV options hard to swallow for whatever reason, this half-hour handcrafted assortment of bite-sized comedy content may just tickle their taste buds with eclectic narratives from storytellers with diverse points of view. Season 4 opens tonight with a premiere called “Ask Believe, Receive,” which contains an exhortation to lovers that it’s important to keep dreaming. Another new half-hour episode immediately follows.
