“FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH” “What are you, people? On DOPE?” Amy Heckerling (“Clueless”) made her directing debut with this 1982 comedy set in a California high school. The plot, such as it is, involves a naive, likable guy and girl (Brian Backer, Jennifer Jason Leigh) who should get together but are getting the wrong kind of relationship advice from their respective friends (Robert Romanus, Phoebe Cates). “OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN” America’s most famous residence has a rough time in this 2013 thriller, in which enemies invade the White House. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day”), the film stars Gerard Butler as a disgraced exbodyguard who comes to the chief executive’s (Aaron Eckhart) aid again when terrorists strike. The strong cast also includes Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, Angela Bassett, Dylan McDermott, Robert Forster, Radha Mitchell and Ashley Judd. A 2016 sequel, “London Has Fallen,” immediately follows. 7:30 p.m. on SYFY
“ISN’T IT ROMANTIC” Plagued with low self-esteem, architect Natalie (Rebel Wilson) developed an aversion to romantic comedies early in life, so when she’s knocked unconscious during an attempted mugging, she’s horrified to wake up and find herself somehow trapped in just such a cliché-filled love story. Complicating matters, the people Natalie knows in her “real” life have changed into Hollywood stereotypes. A fine supporting cast that includes Liam Hemsworth, Adam Devine, Priyanka Chopra and Betty Gilpin (the Netflix series “GLOW”) further enhances director Todd Strauss-Schulson’s fizzy comedy. 7:30 p.m. on TNT
