Moms’ Soccer Clinic

Led by Matt Yelton, CFC Academy director of coaching, this free onehour clinic is designed to help moms who are new to soccer better understand the game and the structure of the CFC Academy. Dr. Jason Robertson, medical director of the orthopaedi­c walk-in clinic at Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedi­cs and CFC team physician, will talk about the health benefits and common injuries associated with soccer. as part of the White House’s new “Every Kid in a Park” program. Fourth grade students can now go to everykidin­apark.gov to complete an activity and obtain a free annual entry pass to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including national parks. The park offers a variety of activities, including the Junior Ranger program, hiking a variety of trails throughout the park and possibly coming face to face with a Civil War soldier.
