Bendabout Farm continues tradition of polo matches

Bendabout Farm will continue its tradition of hosting polo matches Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 10-11 and 17-18.

Matches will feature local, national and internatio­nal players from the profession­al and amateur ranks playing as the Bendabout Team and the Aiken South Carolina Team. Feature match Sunday, Sept. 18, benefits the 6th Cavalry Museum. Admission and parking are free. Reps of the museum will be available for questions and to accept voluntary contributi­ons, which are encouraged. Saturday matches are at 10 a.m. and Sunday matches are at 2 p.m. Games are played “weather permitting.” Gates open to the public two hours before start time. There is plenty of free parking and seating or bring folding chairs. Bendabout Farm is just south of Cleveland on U.S. Highway 11. Look for the “Polo Today” sign.
