Until the final play of the season, Norwood said she’s going to continue to enjoy all the coaching she can get from her upperclassmen, who always lead by example.
“My seniors have really taken on a teaching role this year,” she said. “They’re helping the younger kids a lot and that’s very special to see.”
In Thursday’s matches, Harwood had an impressive performance with 17 kills, seven blocks and four aces combined against both schools.
Eaves was also lights out with 10 aces, 27 digs and seven kills. Leah Oliver had 32 assists an six aces. Symerel Bennett had three blocks and Macey Gregg had 24 digs.
LFO’s next match will be on Tuesday at Sonoraville.
Their next area match isn’t until Sept. 27.
