ARTS · Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School’s Open Studio community art program, under the direction of art teacher Wendy Morgan, offers a variety of art workshops on Tuesdays in room 310. Youth classes are from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Adult classes are from 6-8 p.m. Class fee is $15. Mediums include in depth direction in drawing, painting, printmakin­g, ceramics, clay, glass and photograph­y and are suitable for budding artists of any age. ENTERTAINM­ENT · Family Movie Night presented by the Fort Oglethorpe Walmart Super Center returns for its second year and will be held the fourth Saturday in June, July and August with the outdoor movie being shown on Barnhardt Circle’s polo field in Fort Oglethorpe.
