Chamber and UGA offer “Financing Your Business” seminar

The Walker County Chamber of Commerce and the UGA Small Business Development Center will host “Financing Your Business”, a lunch and learn event, at the Walker County Civic Center on Thursday, March 9 from noon. to 1:00 p.m. The event will be sponsored by SouthCrest Bank.

At this workshop, a panel of experts will discuss alternative means for gaining access to financing that businesses need to thrive and grow.

Topics to be discussed include: SBA 504, 7(a) Loans, SSBCI Programs, NOW Accounts, and more.

Harry Kythas with SouthCrest Bank, and Richard Montanaro with University of Georgia Small Business Development Center are scheduled to speak along with several others who represent the financial industry.

Lunch will be provided courtesy of SouthCrest Bank.
