June 5, 1936 — TVFCU officially began when 57 TVA employees pooled their resources of $500 to charter the organization under the Farm Credit Administration. 35 — Street number for TVFCU’s Ringgold Branch at 35 Poplar Springs Road, located at the intersection of Highway 151 and Poplar Springs Road. 15 — The Ringgold Branch was TVFCU’s 15th location. 2001 — TVFCU opened its first Catoosa County branch at 200 Alamar Street in Fort Oglethorpe. 124,000 — TVFCU serves more than 124,000 members throughout its 13-county service area.
