Golden Corral re-opens

The Golden Corral in Fort Oglethorpe re-opened its doors (above) to customers on Thursday, Dec. 8, about 11 months after a fire destroyed the restaurant (right). Fire investigators determined the Jan. 6, 2015, blaze to be accidental and caused by a malfunction in the heating-air conditioning unit. No one was injured, as all employees had already gone home for the night.
