Registration underway for adult softball leagues at Jack Mattox Complex

Registration for the Spring/Summer Adult Softball League at Jack Mattox Park in Ringgold is currently underway.

The league will consist of 12 regular season game and a postseason tournament.

Entry fee is $465 per team, plus $60 for a dozen new softballs (Yellow 44 core/375 compression).

Teams must register by March 17 at catoosarec.com and the regular season begins on April 10.

RYSA preseason tournament

The Ringgold Youth Sports Association’s preseason baseball tournament is scheduled for March 1016. Teams can sign up through March 5.

Each team is guaranteed three games in all division with an entry fee of $50 per team.

There will be a 5 and 6 year-old division, along with divisions for 7 and 8 year-olds, 9 and 10 year-olds and 11 and 12 year-olds.

The tournament will be held at the Jack Mattox Complex (941 Pine Grove Road) in Ringgold.

LaFayette signups

The City of LaFayette Parks and Recreation spring sports registration is being held through Saturday, Mar. 4 at 5 p.m.

The city’s spring sports program includes baseball, softball, and soccer. Baseball and softball registration fee is $85 and soccer is $50.

Baseball ages include 3-12. The 3-4 Rookie League is coed. Girls’ softball ages are 5-12. Soccer ages are 4-12 and all soccer teams are co-ed.

Players for all sports must meet the minimum age requirement before Jan. 1, 2017.

Registration can be done in person at the Parks and Recreation Center or online at cityoflafayettega.org/ recreation/parks-andrecreation.

Chickamauga signups

The Chickamauga Recreation Association is currently holding spring sports signups through Thursday at the CRA Meeting Room.
