Adult softball league registration underway for Jack Mattox

Registration for the Spring/Summer Adult Softball League at Jack Mattox Park in Ringgold is currently underway.

Entry fee is $465 per team, plus $60 for a dozen new softballs (Yellow 44 core/375 compression).

Teams must register by March 17 at catoosarec.com and the regular season begins on April 10.

Cobb Memorial Tournament

The 4th Annual Ronnie Cobb Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Battlefield Golf and Country Club on April 27.

Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Entry fee is $75 per player and $300 for each four-player team. Mulligans (2 for $20) and one red tee will be available on the day of the tournament.

Prizes will be given for first and second place, as well as awards for longest drive and closest to the hole.

All proceeds will benefit the Battlefield Braves Baseball program.

Clash of the Bats

The Boys of Summer Clash of the Bats baseball tournament will be held at the LFORA fields on April 22-23 for teams ages 7-10.

Entry fee will be $50 for 7-and-8 year-old coach pitch teams and entry fee will be $175 for 9 and 10-year-old teams. Each team will be guaranteed three games.
