The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Nissin Brake Georgia recruit 60 full-time manufacturing employees to work in LaFayette.
The recruitment will be held on Thursday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Oglethorpe City Hall located at 500 City Hall Drive (behind Steak & Shake).. GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants.
The employer is recruiting for casting technicians, industrial equipment maintenance workers and machine operators.
Due to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), is required.
The industrial equipment maintenance applicants are required to have at least three years of related experience.
Salaries will range from $11 to $24 an hour, depending on the position and experience.

The recruitment will be held on Friday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 200 West Villanow St. in LaFayette.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Applicants are required to have at least six months of manufacturing experience. All chosen applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening exam.
Salaries will range from $10.10 to $10.60 an hour. It is required that applicants can work over time.
