The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Nissin Brake Georgia recruit 60 full-time manufactur­ing employees to work in LaFayette.

The recruitmen­t will be held on Thursday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Oglethorpe City Hall located at 500 City Hall Drive (behind Steak & Shake).. GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants.

The employer is recruiting for casting technician­s, industrial equipment maintenanc­e workers and machine operators.

Due to the U.S. Occupation­al Safety and Health (OSHA) regulation­s, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), is required.

The industrial equipment maintenanc­e applicants are required to have at least three years of related experience.

Salaries will range from $11 to $24 an hour, depending on the position and experience.

The recruitmen­t will be held on Friday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 200 West Villanow St. in LaFayette.

Due to U.S. Occupation­al Safety and Health (OSHA) regulation­s, all applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Applicants are required to have at least six months of manufactur­ing experience. All chosen applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening exam.

Salaries will range from $10.10 to $10.60 an hour. It is required that applicants can work over time.
