completed all five of his passes in the drive, including a 20-yarder to Trenton Daniel for the score that re-tied the game.

Again, Ringgold answered, but their 13-play drive came up short and Davis had to hit a 20-yard field goal for a 24-21 lead with just 10 seconds left in the third quarter.

The first points of the fourth quarter belonged to Sonoraville, as Moore (who hit all seven of his pass attempts in the second half) again found Daniel, this time for a 5-yard touchdown with 10:07 to play. But the Tigers had a surprise in store for the home time.

Starting the drive on their own 29, the Tigers ground out (literally) a 12-play drive that ate up over five minutes and, remarkably, was strictly accomplished

on running plays until the touchdown strike to Starks. Joey Collins and Jones each had first-down pickups, but Kibler twice drew Sonoraville’s nose tackle off for a give fiveyard penalty. One also went for a first down.

Kibler’s touchdown passes to Starks was the only pass completion on the drive.

The Tigers remain on the road this week with a trip to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, the first of four vital division games that will decide the seeding for their Week 10 crossover game.

The Tigers will be looking to add to their impressive winning streak against their oldest county rivals.

Ringgold has won the past 12 gridiron meetings between the two schools. LFO hasn’t beaten the Tigers since the 2004 season, when the Warriors claimed a 42-0 win, en route to a 10-0 regular season.
