The Lady Trojans’ trademark pressure defense was on display all game long on Saturday as they overwhelmed the Lady Raiders on the final day of the Trion Christmas Tournament.

Dalton and Gracey Kruse both hit 3-pointers in the first quarter, while solid passing and hustle on the offensive boards by the entire team allowed the Lady Trojans to take a 27-8 lead into the locker room.

It was more of the same in the second half as head coach Kevin McElhaney started turning to his bench before the end of the third quarter.

Dalton connected on three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points for Gordon Lee.

O’Neal joined Kruse with nine points each, followed by Belue with eight and Katherine Grace McElhaney with seven.

Gordon Lee (5-6) was slated to play at home on Tuesday against Ringgold, starting at 4 p.m.
