Abbie Ann Newton Weeks, 84, Ringgold, Ga.

Abbie Ann Newton Weeks, 84, of Ringgold, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years, Donald G. Weeks, her parents Perley A. & Abbie Newton of Unity, NH, brothers & sisters, Pearl Newton Tatro, Charles “Bud” Newton, Charlotte Newton Coderre, Shirley Newton, John Newton, James Newton, and grandsons, Jason & Jesse Weeks.

Survivors include Sarah Newton Reid, Randolph Newton, loving mother to Douglas (Diane) Weeks, Mark (Katie) Weeks, Wendy Weeks (Terry) Boggs; grandchild­ren, Alaina Boggs, Jarred Boggs, Collin Weeks; great-grandson, Nolan Boggs; many nieces & nephews.

Jimmy Dairl Lewis, 80, Rossville, Ga.

Jimmy Dairl Lewis, 80, of Rossville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018.

A native of Ft. Payne, Alabama, he has lived in the North Georgia area for the past 45 years. Jimmy was a former employee of Southern Marine where he worked for 15 years and Keystone Automotive where he worked for 10 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Margaret Mitchell Lewis and two brothers, Buford and Wiley Lewis.

He is survived by three sons, Lavaughn Lewis of Rossville, GA., Anthony J. Lewis of Chattanoog­a, TN., and Ronnie (DeeDee) Lewis of Rossville, GA.; two sisters, Roberta Suphin of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA., and Lora Faye Denable of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.; four brothers, Doyle Lewis of Rossville, GA., Tommy Lewis of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA., Larry Lewis of Crossville, TN., and James Lewis of Chattanoog­a, TN.; six grandchild­ren, seven great grandchild­ren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-7:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Zelma Ann Regina Baker Mahaffy, 54, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.

A resident of the North Georgia area most of her life, she was a former employee of Beaulieu of America and was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Walter Baker; mother, Mary Zelma Jean Coker Baker; and cousin, Dewayne Ray. She is survived by four children, Shawna Stewart of Tunnel Hill, GA., Aaron Jones of Cohutta, GA., Alex Jones of Moscow, Idaho, and Marissa Harrison of Tunnel Hill, GA.; stepmother, Sally Baker of Rocky Face, GA.; two sisters, Maria (Bill) Murphy of Trenton, GA., and Missy (Bruce) Hammontree of Tunnel Hill, GA.; two brothers, James (Melinda) Baker of Tunnel Hill, GA., and Vince (Renet) Baker of Cohutta, GA.; stepsister, Connie Lindsey of Rocky Face, GA.; special friend, April Wilson of Resaca, GA.; ten grandchild­ren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services: 2 P.M. Monday, February 19, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.

Stephanie Marie Campbell Murphy age 37, of Chickamaug­a, Georgia went home to be with the Lord Friday – February 16, 2018.

She was born in East Ridge, TN and had been a lifelong resident of the Rossville and Chickamaug­a area. She had worked with her family at the Cup Cake Resale Shop in Wallacevil­le and enjoyed being a homemaker as well. She had attended church at Wallacevil­le Church of God. She enjoyed babysittin­g children, she was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football Fan and enjoyed being a Mom to her beloved children most of all. Stephanie was a very giving person and through her death offered others a better life as well.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Timothy Earl Murphy who she missed dearly.

She is survived by her cherished children: Dante Murphy and Gracie Murphy, parents: Dennis and Sharon Campbell all of Chickamaug­a, GA, sister: Stacy Campbell and nephew: Remy Black both of Rossville, GA.

Visitation: Monday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Tuesday morning prior to the service.

Funeral services: 2:00 pm – Tuesday – February 20, 2018 to celebrate her life in the chapel with Ministers: Rex Mayo and Lamar Walker officiatin­g.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

Robert L. Forster, 52, Ringgold, Ga.

Robert L. Forster, age 52, of Ringgold, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Beside a deep love for his family, Robert also loved working on old cars and going to the Flea Market.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Forster; mother and step-father, Juanita and Eugene Alexander.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Stacy Forster; sons, Robbie (Heather Fritts) Forster and Jeremy (Felicia) Wilson; sisters, Rhonda (Bruce) Banks, Chris Wilbanks, Lisa Abercrombi­e; granddaugh­ters, Kendra Forster and Shelby Teems; best friend, Chris Stevens; “his girls”, Blackberry and Wolfie; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service: 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Wayne Casteel officiatin­g.

Entombment: Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.

Visitation: 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
