Diane Cook Barker, 70, LaFayette, Ga.

Diane Cook Barker, age 70, of LaFayette passed away Friday, March 09, 2018. She was owner and operator of Diane’s Quick Stop in Naomi until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Barker; son, Brian Barker; and brothers, Terry, Bill, Dick, Bob, Pete, and Ronnie Cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Mark) White; grandchildren, Erin White, Bryson White, and Jasmine Barker; great granddaughter, Paislee White; sisters, Ann Shipp and Betty

Wilson; brothers, Danny Cook and Ricky Cook.

Funeral service: 4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Randy Avans officiating.

Visitation: Sunday from 1 p.m. until hour of service.

Steve Rodman, 61, Trenton, Ga.

Steve Rodman, age 61, of Trenton, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherwood and Mae Rodman.

He is survived by his sister, Susan (Phil) Burkhart; brothers, David (Sue) Rodman and Phil (Johneen) Rodman; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Saturday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Sunday before the funeral.

Funeral services: 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the chapel with Pastor Andrew Givins officiating.

Burial: Ashe Cemetery in Bryson City, NC.
