Garden Girls of Ringgold

The Garden Girls of Ringgold held its February monthly meeting at the Mountain Oaks Tea Room, 9508 Church St., Ooltewah, Tenn. This meeting was to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The guest speaker was Sara McIntyre, director of Crabtree Farms. She spoke on all types of gardening for spring and summer. She also gave great information about honey bees and why they do what they do. The garden club was served a great lunch and drew names for door prizes, and the meeting was enjoyed by all. Anyone in Ringgold or the surrounding areas is welcome to join the Garden Girls of Ringgold. The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 10, at 1:30 p.m. at New Heights Baptist Church on Ooltewah Ringgold Road, across from the Meadows subdivision.
