Lady Bobcats win Pink Game against Andrew College

The Georgia Northweste­rn Lady Bobcats picked up a victory in a marathon five-set match against the Bryan College junior varsity squad in Dayton, Tenn. earlier this season and the Lady Lions returned the favor in Rossville last Monday night, outlasting the Navy-and-silver, 25-22, 23-25, 12-25, 25-16 and 15-4, at the Rossville Athletic Center.

Summer Fitzpatric­k had a dozen kills and an ace for the Lady Bobcats. Mia Clark had 21 assists to go with four aces, five kills, two digs and a block. Kayleigh Goff added four kills, three assists, two digs and two aces, while Savannah Walker had six kills, three blocks, two digs and two aces.

Jamese Miller picked up four kills, an ace and a dig. Morgen Simmons had four digs. Kaylin Graham finished with two digs, an ace, an assist and a kill. Destiny Willbanks had one kill, while Gracie Goode finished with a block and an assist.

GNTC was back at the R.A.C. this past Friday as they welcomed Andrew (Ga.) College and Chattanoog­a State Community College in the annual Pink Game for breast cancer awareness.

As they did last year, the Lady Bobcats picked up the win against Andrew, 25-16, 17-25, 25-12 and 25-18. Walker had nine kills, four blocks and two aces. Fitzpatric­k had nine kills and one ace. Miller had eight kills and a block, while Goff had three kills, two aces and 20 assists.

Clark had five kills, three aces, three blocks, three assists and two digs. Simmons finished with two aces. Graham had a dig and an assist while Goode chipped in with a block.

In the nightcap, the Lady Bobcats fell to Chattanoog­a State, 25-22, 25-20 and 25-17, their second loss to the firstyear Lady Tigers this season.

Fitzpatric­k paced the offense with five kills to go with three aces and two digs. Walker had three kills and a block. Goode had three kills and two blocks, while Goff had three kills, two blocks, two digs and an ace.

Clark had 11 assists, four digs, a kill and a block. Simmons had two digs and an ace, while Miller had two digs and a kill. Graham rounded out the stat sheet with one dig.

GNTC (5-13) was slated to be back at home on Monday to take on the Cove- nant College JV team. Due to newspaper deadlines, results were not available as of press time. This Saturday, the Lady Bob- cats will travel to Marion, Ala. for a trimatch with Coastal Alabama Community College and Judson College at Judson.
