Center For HOPE celebrates successful 2018 golf tournament

- From press release

The Center For HOPE Counseling Center recently held their 10th Annual Golf Tournament at Battlefield Golf in Ringgold on Oct. 9. For 10 consecutive years, PEPSICO of Chattanooga has been the major sponsor of this event.

Rex Henley, new Unit Sales Manager, was delighted to be playing on one of the teams this year. Henley has been involved in the event’s progress since he came to the Chattanooga market earlier this year.

The Center opened its doors in January 2009, thanks to a core of dedicated volunteers and supporters who realized the need for a full- service, faith- based counseling center.

Also offering clinical counseling, they offer marriage and family, depres- sion, addiction and many other specialized counseling services to the residents of North Georgia and Chattanooga. With offices in Ringgold and Summerville, the Center offers professional care on a sliding-fee scale, regardless of ability to pay.

Other major sponsors of this event were Flegal Insurance, James Robinson Keller Williams Realty, Greg Seibenhener Allstate Agency, SCORE International, National Boiler of Trenton, Kiwanis Fort Oglethorpe, Worley’s Greased Lightn’, Bank of Lafayette and Shaw Industries.

Henley said he was pleased to be a part of this year’s tournament and stated that Pepsi has committed to be the major sponsor of the 2019 Tournament. Many stated that this tournament was the best they had participated in several years.

The players and volunteers were fed three meals for the day thanks to Park Place Restaurant, Bojangles, Hardees and Armando’s of East Ridge. The Center For HOPE wishes to thank all the volunteers, sponsors, donors and the staff of Battlefield Golf including Mike Miller, manager, for all their assistance in making this year’s tournament the best ever.
