During the second half of July (July 16-31), 22 eating establishments were inspected in Catoosa and Walker counties: seven earned a perfect score of 100; 11 earned a score in the 90s (A); three earned a score in the 80s (B); and one earned a score in the 60s (unsatisfactory).

Observed no properly working cold holding units during the inspection. TCS food in both prep top units and the walkin coolers were cold holding above 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Due to not having enough any working cold holding units, the restaurant voluntarily closed until the cold holding units can be repaired. The temperature inside the building is over 80 degrees Fahrenheit as well. Observed heavy condensation inside walk-in cooler with large amounts of condensation water pooling over food containers, shelving and floor. Facility will remain closed until the health authority can verify there are enough functioning coolers maintaining 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. Owner will call Catoosa County Environmental health prior to reopening to verify coolers are working properly. CA: All TCS foods cold holding over 41 degrees Fahrenheit will be discarded including raw ground beef, raw pork, milk, sliced tomatoes, and in house cole slaw. See temperature chart below. (9 pts)
