Volleyball regular season ends, title match set for Thursday
The Saddle Ridge Lady Mustangs picked up a road win at Rossville on Monday by scores of 25-17 and 25-21.
Varsity standouts for Saddle Ridge included Cheyenne Swanson with four aces, four assists and two digs, Macee Casteel with four aces, two kills and one dig, Addison Mcnabb with four aces, one assist and one dig, Caydence Tinklepaugh with three digs, two kills and one assist and Mary Alice Ertz with two digs, two aces and two kills.
Also getting on the stat sheet for the Lady Mustangs was Lydia Haggard (three aces), Mary Kate Thurman (four assists), Lanie Hamilton (four digs, two aces, one kill), Alesia Leaks (two kills, two digs), Brynna Frederickson (two digs, one ace) and Kennedy Mcnabb (one ace).
Piper Newbille had four aces, three kills, two digs and two assists for the Lady Bulldogs. Olivia Middlebrooks served up four aces. Stella Stephens had two kills, an ace and a dig. Callie Hayes finished with two digs and a kill, while an ace from Haylee Cross and a kill from Sarah Ellis rounded out the stats for the home team.
Saddle Ridge also won the JV match, 25-5 and 25-7.
Jasmin Felipe finished with nine aces and three kills for the Lady Mustangs. Campbell Crutcher picked up six aces, two kills and a dig. Libby Kate Parnell served up a half-dozen aces and Della Harris had five aces, two kills and a dig.
L.C. Mullaly collected two kills, two digs and one ace. Cheyanne Catlett had two aces. Anabelle Penland had one dig and one kill, while Grace Gamel chipped in with a kill.
Mckenzey Moore had an ace and a kill for Rossville. Bailey Mincy recorded one digs and Cameron Roe added an ace.
