The Rest of the 2020 Softball Dream Team

Marianne Beliveau, Ridgeland — The future UC Patriot hit .431 in her final year with the Lady Panthers to earn first team All-region status, adding seven doubles, two homers and 20 RBIS.

Bailey Christol, Heritage — The senior, on her way to West Georgia, was first team All-region and All-state as she batted .427 with six doubles, two triples, 15 RBIS and 39 runs scored.

Zoey Defoor, Ringgold — The freshman utility player came on strong for the state champs, hitting .364 with a triple, 12 RBIS, 17 runs scored and eight stolen bases to pick up second team All-state honors.

Maggie Dickson, Ridgeland — Second team 7-AAAA honors went to the junior who hit three doubles, three triples, drove in 13 runs, scored 23 more and led Ridgeland with a .476 average.

Jordan Dyer, Gordon Lee — A breakout season included first team All-region and All-state honors as the senior hit .416 with 10 doubles, eight homeruns and knocked in 33 runs.

Amber Gainer, Ringgold — Chattanoog­a State is the next stop for the 6-AAA and Class AAA first team pick after she batted .424 with five doubles, three triples, six homers, 22 RBIS, 29 stolen bases and 52 runs scored.

Jade Gainer, Ringgold — The senior will be joining her twin sister at college next year after hitting .439 with 13 doubles, a triple and four homers and adding 23 RBIS, 13 stolen bases and 39 runs scored, earning first team All-region and All-state.

Autumn Green, Ringgold — The junior speedster earned second team All-state status by hitting .377 with a triple, 11 RBIS, 23 runs scored and 11 stolen bases.

Caroline Hemphill, Ringgold — The senior enjoyed a offensive explosion in her final season with a .397 average, 15 doubles, five homers and 46 RBIS to go with 28 runs scored and All-region and All-state first team honors.

Riley Kokinda, Heritage — The junior earned first team nods from 7-AAAA and Class AAAA after hitting a career-high .512 with six doubles, one triple and 26 RBIS, while adding 34 runs scored and 20 stolen bases.

Anna Jenkins, Ridgeland — The senior stepped up at the plate in her final season in Rossville with a .421 batting average, one triple and 10 runs scored to earn second team All-region honors.

Jenna Morgan, Ridgeland — Second team AllRegion recognitio­n went to the junior, who batted .397 with six doubles, a triple, two homers and 35 runs scored with 14 stolen bases.

Baileigh Pitts, Ringgold — A finalist for 6-AAA Player of the Year honors, the first team All-region and first team All-state selection hit .408 with 14 doubles, four triples and six homers with 31 runs scored and 32 RBIS.

Ashlyn Schmidt, Gordon Lee — The senior batted .352 with three doubles, a triple, a memorable playoff homerun, 23 RBIS, 15 stolen bases and 41 runs scored to collect second team All-region and All-state status.

Haley Stahl, LFO — Bryan College is the next stop for the first team All-region senior, who not only batted .329 with four doubles, a homer and 16 RBIS, but also sported a 1.65 ERA in 144 innings of work with 93 strikeouts and just 22 walks.

Madeline Stone, Heritage — The junior was a wall behind the plate and impressive with the bat, earning first team All-region and All-state honors with a .414 average, 11 doubles, three triples, a homer and 35 RBIS.

Addison Sturdivant, Gordon Lee — The senior is also headed to West Georgia with first team All-region and All-state status after hitting .443 with seven doubles and two homers to go with 20 RBIS, 45 stolen bases and 54 runs scored.

Zoe Wright, Heritage — The junior garnered first team All-region and second team All-state honors after batting .421 with four doubles and two triples, while also picking up 15 RBIS, nine stolen bases and 38 runs scored.
