Chattanooga Athletics announces 1500 Mocs campaign

- From Press Release

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Department of Athletics recently announced the launch of a new campaign to fortify a foundation for continued financial growth and the Chattanooga Athletics brand in the greater Tennessee and Georgia area.

The 1500 Mocs campaign aims to increase Mocs Club membership to 1,500 members by 2022. The Mocs Club currently sits middle of the pack in the Southern Conference with 1,004 members.

With over 50,000 living alumni spread across Tennessee and Georgia, the Mocs Club is looking to increase participation and philanthropic support to new heights. Private donor support remains the driving force behind Chattanooga Athletics’ ability to provide the resources necessary for our student-athletes to excel academically and athletically.

By joining the Mocs Club, you are investing in our student-athletes and helping them achieve a life changing education from UTC.

“We are excited about the 1500 Mocs campaign and encourage you to join the effort to energize Chattanooga on behalf of Chattanooga Athletics as we strive to reach 1,500 Mocs Club members by 2022,” stated Mark Wharton, Vice Chancellor & Director of Athletics. “For us to become the premier program of the Southern Conference, it is absolutely critical that we grow our donor base.

“I am urging anyone who associates as a Moc to join the Mocs Club and support the educational and athletic experience of our studentathletes.

Current Mocs Club members can refer new members and increase their benefit level through the Mocs Club referral program. Referring two prospects who decide to join the Mocs Club at the Starter Level and above gives you the ability to increase your Mocs Club membership level.

New Mocs Club members who hop on board the 1500 Mocs Campaign will receive a Mocs Club 2021 car decal, a Power ‘C’ coaster set, and Mocs Club priority points.
