Mt. Zion Baptist Church Demetrius J. Jackson Food Bank will give away fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, pastries and more until all food is distributed Saturday, April 10, at noon at 289 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette.
Monday, April 12
Catoosa County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at Old Stone Church Museum. The speaker will be retired Lt. Col. Jeffrey Wright, a Catoosa County native who now lives in Marietta. His program is titled “Catoosa Short Stories From the Sinister to Adolescent Bravery.” Wright is a member of the Catoosa County Historical Society and has based his program on research of actual events in the county’s history. Old Stone Church Museum is two miles south of Ringgold on
U.S. Highway 41 at the intersection of Ga. Highway 2 (41 Catoosa Parkway). All visitors are welcome. Attendees are asked to wear a mask to the meetings and to social distance.
