Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church at 600 Mohawk Street in Rossville will have a “Rally for Revival” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Pastor/evangelist Lou Rossi will be preaching. Pastor George Pinion and the members extend a cordial invitation to the public to attend.

The Walker County Historical Society will meet on Sunday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m. in a joint meeting with the Noble Neighborhood Association. Kenny White will share stories from “When Noble was a Village: The general stores, the churches, the barbershop, the filling stations, the restaurants, the farms and dairies and cemeteries.” The meeting will be at Center Point Church Fellowship Hall. All the money raised will go to fund programs and services at the library.
