BROCK, Hilliard “Tebo”

Hilliard “Tebo” Eugene Brock, age 85, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Rome, Georgia. He was born on October 31, 1937 in Lafayette, Georgia to the late Charles E. Brock and Aleene Landers Brock. He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was employed at Shaw Industries at the time of his retirement. Most importantly, Tebo was a faithful follower of the Lord and described himself as “no great He sought to honor God every day.

Tebo is survived by his loving wife, Celia Varnell Brock to whom he was married for 63 years, and his four children; son, Rob and Amber (Thompson) Brock of Magnolia, TX; son, Monty and Angie (Gregory) Brock of Acworth, GA; daughter Allison and Kenneth Jones of Rome, GA; and daughter, Laurie and Greg Wamack of Mt. Juliet, TN; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He is now reunited in heaven with his parents and two sisters, Rebecca Brock Sosebee and Shirley Brock Jackson.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 from 1-3 pm followed by a memorial service starting at 3 pm at Highland Presbyterian Church in Lafayette, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Dr. Kenneth Jones, Greg Wamack, Andrew Brock, Ben Brock, Luke Brock, Will Spencer Wamack, Brock Wamack, and Pavel Chiva. The elders of Highland Presbyterian Church will serve as honorary pallbear - tributions can be made in Tebo’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or African Mission Healthcare Friends of Chogoria Hospital Fund.
