THE REST OF THE CATOOSA-WALKER SOFTBALL FIRST TEAM

Olivia Acuff (Lafayette) The sophomore catcher produced an All-region (63A) first team season by batting .387 with 14 doubles and a pair of triples to go with 28 runs batted in and 15 runs scored.

Kelsey Anderson (Heritage) The junior won five games in the circle this past fall, striking out 62 batters and walking just 13 in 54.2 innings with a 1.54 ERA and earning honorable mention honors in 7-4A.

Harper Carstens (Heritage) The junior earned second team All-region honors and honorable mention All-state status after hitting an even .400 with four doubles, three triples, 18 RBIS and 28 runs scored.

Zoey Defoor (Ringgold) A robust .462 average, five doubles, one triple, one home run, 15 RBIS and 22 runs scored, along with outstanding defense, earned the senior a first team All-region spot in 6-3A.

Lexi Duckett (Heritage)

The senior closed out an outstanding career by hitting .344 with four doubles and a team-high six triples to go with 13 RBIS and 32 runs scored to earn first team All-region honors.

Chloee Fryar (Gordon Lee)

The speedy senior hit .477 with six doubles, a triple, 14 RBIS and scored 37 times with 30 stolen bases to collect first team All-region and Class 3A All-state honors this fall.

Bailee Hollis (Heritage) The rookie shined by batting .467 with 13 RBIS and 26 runs scored, while also winning four games and striking out 30 in 19 innings, to earn All-region and All-state honors.

E.G. Hixon (Gordon Lee)

The sophomore had another big year by hitting .468 with two doubles, three triples, 18 RBIS, 25 runs scored and 26 stolen bases to be named first team All-region and All-state.

Breonn Newbille (LFO) Dependable at the plate and behind the plate, the senior was first team All-region after hitting .379 with 19 runs scored, six RBIS and seven stolen bases for the Lady Warriors.

Lakely Parrish ( LFO) The sophomore was a key contributor at the plate and in the circle as she earned first team honors in 6-3A by hitting .347 with eight RBIS and striking out 87 hitters in 88.1 innings.

Emma Phillips (Gordon Lee)

The senior outfielder closed out an excellent career by hitting .365 with two doubles, 13 RBIS and 21 runs scored, earning second team All-region and All-state honors.

Shayla Rosson (Ridgeland) The junior infielder had a career year at the plate and was a first team pick in Region 6-3A after batting .516 and slugging .719 with five doubles, a triple, two homers and 18 RBIS.

Jenna Ryans (Heritage) The sophomore hit .402 with four doubles, two triples, 16 runs scored and 25 RBIS and ended the year by being named first team All-region in 7-4A and second team All-state.

Katy Thompson (Ringgold) The senior earned All-region honorable mention by posting 41 strikeouts in 53.2 innings with a 2.87 ERA, while hitting .389 with five doubles, a triple, two homers and 22 RBIS.

Tenslee Wilson (Gordon Lee) The sophomore was a key part of the lineup and earned second team All-region and AllState honors by batting .348 with seven doubles, a triple, 29 runs scored and 21 RBIS.

Raven Yancy (Lafayette) The sophomore was first team All-region in 6-3A after hitting .390 with three doubles and a triple to go with 13 RBIS and 31 runs scored for the stateranked Lady Ramblers.
