Buccaneers 27, Steelers 24: Mike Glennon hit a diving Vincent Jackson for a 5-yard touchdown with seven seconds remaining, and Tampa Bay went from woeful to winners in 10 days with a stunning victory over host Pittsburgh yesterday.

The Buccaneers lost to Atlanta by six touchdowns a week ago but bounced back, with Glennon passing for 302 yards in his first start of the season, including a 41-yard catch-and-run by Louis Murphy that set up Jackson’s score.

Ben Roethlisberger passed for 314 yards and three touchdowns, but the Steelers couldn’t protect a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter. Ravens 38, Panthers 10: Steve Smith punished his former team with seven catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns, and host Baltimore buried Carolina. Smith spent 13 seasons with the Panthers before he was released in a cost-cutting move during the offseason. His scoring grabs went for 61 and 21 yards. Joe Flacco completed 22 of 31 passes for 327 yards and three touchdowns. 49ers 26, Eagles 21: Frank Gore caught a career-best 55-yard touchdown and ran for 119 yards in his first 100yard game of the season, leading host San Francisco past Philadelphia. The 49ers delivered a late goal-line stand as they avoided their first threegame losing streak under fourth-year coach Jim Harbaugh and handed the Eagles their first loss. Cowboys 38, Saints 17: Tony Romo threw three touchdowns passes — two to Terrance Williams — and DeMarco Murray ran for a pair of scores in another 100-yard game for host Dallas. New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees led two scoring drives early in the fourth quarter to cut a 31-3 deficit in half before the Cowboys regained control. Vikings 41, Falcons 28: Teddy Bridgewater passed for 317 yards and a key two-point conversion before leaving with an ankle injury for host Minnesota. Bridgewater, a rookie making his first start, was 19 of 30 with no turnovers and ran five times for 27 yards and a score, but his left ankle got rolled underneath him on a carry. Dolphins 38, Raiders 14: Ryan Tannehill threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns, leading Miami over Oakland in London. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr suffered knee and ankle injuries in the third quarter and did not return. Packers 38, Bears 17: Aaron Rodgers threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns and Green Bay shook off a miserable offensive performance by trouncing host Chicago. The Packers, who scored just seven points in a loss at Detroit last week, scored on their first six possessions to build a 38-17 lead. Lions 24, Jets 17: Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score for visiting Detroit. A struggling Geno Smith had two more turnovers and heard chants of “We want Vick!” from the New York crowd. The Jets are 1-3 for the first time in Rex Ryan’s six seasons as coach. Chargers 33, Jaguars 14: Philip Rivers threw for 377 yards and three touchdowns, two to Eddie Royal, and host San Diego turned back an early scare from Blake Bortles and winless Jacksonville. Bortles, the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, made his first start. He threw one touchdown pass, was intercepted twice and twice had the Jaguars in the lead in the first half. Colts 41, Titans 17: Andrew Luck threw four touchdown passes and host Indianapolis extended its league-leading streak of consecutive wins over division foes to nine by defeating AFC South rival Tennessee. Luck’s passing total of 393 yards is a season high. Texans 23, Bills 17: J.J. Watt had another highlight-reel play with an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown, and host Houston defeated Buffalo.
