Reservations open for wildflower walk
The Arc of Appalachia nature preserve is taking reservations for the 2017 Wildflower Pilgrimage on April 13-15 at the Highlands Nature Sanctuary in Adams County.
Naturalist-guided field trips will be offered to view the beautiful wildflowers of southern Ohio. Breakfasts are served off the grill at the Appalachian Forest Museum, and participants will pack their own lunches from a buffet.
The sanctuary’s visitors center will host the evening meals and presentations.
The cost is $135 per person, or $185 for the photography workshop.

Visitors can see sap turned into maple syrup, buy syrup and enjoy breakfast for a small fee: $5 for adults and $3 for children.
