They are Democrats in name only

-

It is high time that the Democratic Party considers changing its name. The current name is deceptive and fraudulent. The word Democrat is derived from the word democracy, which is of Greek origin and is a combination of the words daemos (people) and kratein (to rule), i.e. rule of the people.

Every four years, our country holds an election and two parties nominate their candidate. The party with the most electoral votes wins and forms the government. This is how democracy works or is supposed to work. The last election must be considered a landslide with 304 votes for Trump and 227 votes for Clinton.

When a Democrat wins, the Republicans do not like it, but quietly accept the outcome. When a Republican wins, the Democrats, and especially the despicable left wing, go on a rampage. They burn cars, destroy businesses, organize phony demonstrations and cause millions of dollars in damage.

Anybody who did not vote for them is termed a moron and deplorable. Free speech, the cornerstone of democracy, is not allowed. If a university invites a speaker that presents an opposing view, the despicable left, with the tacit approval of the Democrats, organizes riots, destroys property and threatens the life of the speaker. No opposing view is allowed and university presidents seem to support these enemies of democracy.

The 2016 election results will hopefully lead to preserving democracy in this country.
