Senior employment expo set Aug. 24

COLUMBUS — Employment For Seniors has announced it will hold its annual Senior Career Expo on Aug. 24 at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road.

Employers interested in connecting with job applicants age 50 or older can register to be represente­d there with a recruiting table and inclusion in printed and online marketing. Details for employers can be found at https://employseni­ors. org/expo2017re­gistration-info. html.

Employers will have recruiting and networking time with mature job seekers from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. An employers’ breakfast, sponsored by BMI Federal Credit Union, will be held from 7:45 until 8:45 a.m. prior to the job fair. It will feature Natasha Pongonis, CEO and co-founder of Nativa, who will offer tips to employers on using social media for recruiting job applicants. bank’s merger and acquisitio­n adviser business, joined Citizens last month after Citizens’ acquisitio­n of Western Reserve Partners.
