Jackets seek first playoff repeat

Any number of words can be used to describe the 2014-15 season for the Blue Jackets. When general manager Jarmo Kekalainen recently described it as a “disappoint­ment,” that didn’t go far enough for president of hockey operations John Davidson.

He called it “torture.” Those expecting the Blue Jackets to return to the postseason, or to at least avoid a crippling early season losing streak, were left wanting, and a late-season surge ultimately came up short.
