Special passport center opens at post office

A new Passport Center has opened at Columbus' Main Post Offi ce, 850 Twin Rivers Drive.

The center, the fi rst of its kind in Ohio, offers a dedicated, one- stop location for applying for passports and passport cards and obtaining passport photos.

The site is staffed by full-time passport experts to help applicants through the process.

Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday. No appointmen­t is necessary.

Applicants must bring a piece of identifica­tion to prove citizenshi­p, such as a previous passport or certified birth certificat­e; and one additional piece of identifi cation, such as a driver's license. For full informatio­n requiremen­ts and the passport process, visit travel. state. gov.
