Two men sought in pharmacy robbery

Two men, one armed with a gun, tied up employees and robbed a Prairie Township pharmacy of thousands of dollars in drugs last month.

Franklin County sheriff’s office investigators are hoping someone recognizes the men, who were caught on surveillance footage. As part of Central Ohio Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week, a reward is being offered to anyone who submits information leading to an arrest or indictment of the pair.

At 9:26 a.m. Aug. 22, the two men entered Buckeye Pharmacy, 27 Norton Rd., and held up two pharmacy employees. One of them was forced to open the pharmacy’s safe. The employees were bound with zip ties and forced into a backroom. The robbers took several thousand dollars in medications before fleeing.

Both robbers are described as black males with dark complexions in their mid-20s.

The first man is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and about 150 pounds. He has a mustache, goatee, slim build and was last seen wearing a black hoodie with “United Parcel Service 1907” on it. He was also wearing blue jeans and a camo baseball cap with orange trim on the bill.

The second man is described as being about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, about 190 pounds with a muscular build and also had a short goatee/ beard. The man was last seen wearing a white hoodie, white pants and might have been wearing blue latex gloves.
