Irwin man dies when car hits tree

FATAL CRASH

One man was killed in a Madison County crash early Wednesday.

Gregory S. Daniel, 43, of Irwin, was driving his Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Rosedale-Milford Center Road, south of FinleyGuy Road, when he lost control of the vehicle at about 6:30 a.m.

The car went off the right side of the road and hit a tree, according to the West Jefferson post of the State Highway Patrol.

Daniel died at the scene, the patrol said.
