2 guards killed in attack on Afghan TV station

KABUL, Afghanista­n — Two attackers, one of them a suicide bomber, struck a local TV station in Kabul on Tuesday, killing at least two guards, officials said. The Islamic State group quickly claimed responsibi­lity.

Wahid Mujro, spokesman for the public health ministry, said 21 people wounded in the attack were taken to hospitals. and ended with prejudice Friday, meaning the lawsuit cannot be brought back to court.

McQueary filed his suit against the university in 2012 after he lost his job following the firing of former head coach Joe Paterno. He later testified during the child sex abuse case against assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

McQueary was awarded more than $12 million last year in a civil suit. The university filed appeals to try to overturn the verdict. Neither side has disclosed if a settlement was reached. Connecticu­t; Gloucester County, Virginia; and Bloomfield, New Jersey.

The Bloomfield school district said their website displayed the IS video for about two hours Monday before it was taken down.

SchoolDesk, the Atlanta-based company that maintains the site, said technician­s discovered a small file was injected into the root of one of its websites. That redirected about 800 school and district webpages to a YouTube video containing an audible Arabic message, unknown writing and a picture of Saddam Hussein.
