Walmart to offer Black Friday deals early online

BENTONVILL­E, Ark. — Walmart hopes to tempt shoppers with online deals before Black Friday.

It’s beginning some online deals Thursday and plans to offer most of its Black Friday deals online starting at 12:01 a.m. on Thanksgivi­ng. Stores will be open all day on Thanksgivi­ng with the deals available there at 6 p.m. Walmart is adding a color-coded map of store department­s on its circulars that it hopes will make it easier for customers to find items. as playful diversions meant to help people calm down and focus.

But now a consumer advocacy group says two types of fidget spinners being sold at Target could be dangerous. The items — Fidget Wild Premium Spinner Brass and Fidget Wild Premium Spinner Metal — were found to contain as much as 330 times the federal legal limit for lead in children’s products, according to lab tests conducted for the U.S. Public Interest Research Group Education Fund. and businesses where rape and other safety incidents have been reported.

The travel and restaurant review website has so far placed warnings on the pages of three popular resorts in the coastal town of Playa del Carmen in Mexico: the Iberostar Paraiso Maya, the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and the Grand Velas Riviera Maya. A red banner box now appears at the top of those pages with a warning that reads: “TripAdviso­r has been made aware of recent media reports or events concerning this property which may not be reflected in reviews found on this listing. Accordingl­y, you may wish to perform additional research for informatio­n about this property when making your travel plans.”
