Chamber's annual meeting is Feb. 8

COLUMBUS — The Columbus Chamber's annual meeting is set for Feb. 8 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

More than 1,400 business leaders are expected to attend the meeting, which has the theme "Transform" and is to feature some of the region's innovators and entreprene­urs.

Tom Feeney, president and CEO of Safelite AutoGlass, is to deliver the keynote remarks. In 2017, Feeney spearheade­d technology investment­s of more than $41 million through the company's Innovation Hub — investment­s meant to go beyond auto glass.

The program also is to include remarks from Jim Kunk, the retired central Ohio president of Huntington Bancshares and the 2018 Columbus Award honoree.

Also, the chamber will honor the finalists and announce the winner of the 2018 Small Business Leader Award. The finalists are Jeff Burt of EclipseCor­p; Charles R. Morrison III, MCR Medical Supply; Cheryl Stauffer, Crimson Design Group; and Greg Ubert, Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea.

The meeting is open to the public. Tickets are $125.

Door open at 7 a.m., and the program begins at 8 a.m.
