Gibbons has right stuff to unseat Brown

-

Many conservatives were surprised and saddened to hear that state Treasurer Josh Mandel was dropping out of the U. S. Senate race against Sherrod Brown because of a family health issue. We are all praying for his family.

Fortunately, Republicans already have the perfect candidate in the race to defeat Sherrod Brown. It is time for all conservatives to rally around conservative, outsider Mike Gibbons. Unlike Brown, and others who might consider the race, Gibbons is a true outsider. He’s not a career politician. He’s a successful businessman who has helped create jobs throughout Ohio. So successful in fact, that he’s pledged $5 million of his own money to defeat Brown in November. That’s called putting your money with your mouth is.

Because Gibbons has never held elected office, he’s the perfect contrast to Brown, who has spent his lifetime in political office. He’s also a true conservative who has donated generously to conservative causes throughout his career, including serving as state co-chair for President Trump’s finance team.

Gibbons has been campaigning aggressively for months since entering the race, winning countless endorsements from grassroots leaders and the Franklin County Republican Party. He’s done more than 100 campaign events in 71 counties.

I’ve met Mike Gibbons and know that he has the right team to defeat Sherrod Brown. President Ohio Carry Columbus
