LUBBOCK, Texas — Keenan Evans scored 20 points, Brandone Francis had a career-high 17 and eighth-ranked Texas Tech won the first-ever top-10 matchup on its home court, coming from 11 points down in the second half to defeat No. 2 West Virginia 72-71 in a Big 12 game on Saturday.

Evans hit a lean-in jumper to give the Red Raiders (15-2, 4-1) a four-point lead with 42 seconds left after Francis made two go-ahead jumpers in the closing minutes.

Jevon Carter scored 28 points for West Virginia (15-2, 4-1), which had its nation-leading 15-game winning streak stopped. It was the first time Texas Tech won a top-10 matchup; two of the three in school history were this week, starting with a 75-65 loss to No. 9 Oklahoma on Tuesday. NO. 7 DUKE 89, WAKE FOREST 71: Marvin Bagley III had 30 points and 11 rebounds, and host Duke (15-2, 3-2) beat Wake Forest (8-9, 1-4) in an Atlantic Coast Conference game that coach Mike Krzyzewski missed because of a virus. With assistant Jeff Capel in charge, the Blue Devils surged to a 46-33 halftime lead and moved their conference record over .500 for the first time this season. Gary Trent Jr. added 19 points and six threepoint­ers for Duke. This is the third straight season in which Krzyzewski, 70, has missed at least one game for health reasons. Bryant Crawford scored 21 points to lead Wake Forest, which hasn't won at Cameron Indoor Stadium in 21 years. NO. 9 OKLAHOMA 102, NO. 16 TCU 97, OT: Freshman Trae Young scored 29 of his 43 points after halftime, and Oklahoma (14-2, 4-1) held off visiting TCU (13-4, 1-4) in the Big 12. Young, who leads the nation in scoring and assists, added 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Sooners, who made a school-record 19 three-pointers. Jaylen Fisher had a career-high 22 points for the Horned Frogs, whose losses are by a combined 11 points, with three in OT. Fisher hit a layup with 1.4 seconds left to tie the score at 89 and force OT.

NO. 12 KANSAS 73, KANSAS STATE 72: Devonte Graham had 23 points, Malik Newman hit the go-ahead foul shots with 15 seconds left and Kansas (14-3, 4-1) held on to beat visiting Kansas State (12-5, 2-3) in a Big 12 game that had five lead changes in the final 2:18. Dean Wade had 22 points to lead the Wildcats. NO. 20 NORTH CAROLINA 69, NOTRE DAME 68: Joel Berry II hit two free throws with 7.1 seconds left as North Carolina (14-4, 3-2) earned its first ACC road victory of the season, over Notre Dame (13-5, 3-2). Luke Maye had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Tar Heels. T.J. Gibbs had 19 points and six assists for the Irish.
